Originating in Australia in the 1970s, the popularity of indoor cricket soon spread across many cricket-playing nations like UK, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Today, the game is widely played at state, national and international levels, as well as in schools and clubs.
Though unconventional in a way, indoor cricket is nothing new to India, which has seen “gully cricket” or “box cricket” being played for years. NISA has raised the bar and given indoor cricket a professional status. Indoor cricket has given birth to many cricket champions like Steve and Mark Waugh. Back home, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Munaf Patel too have their roots embedded in similar forms of game. NISA aims to create many more legends through their Indoor Cricket ventures.
How the games are played!
Played between 6 or 8 players, indoor cricket is a fast-paced, adrenaline pumping game that promises a great time. The whole game can be played in 90 minutes.
The game is played indoors in an enclosed space, under comfortable lights and a controlled environment. The proficiently built cricket courts have tightly tensioned netting and artificial grass-surfaced courts, with a matting of superior quality and high bounce capability. Soft balls, collapsible spring-loaded stumps and bright colourful uniforms. indoor cricket makes way for clever modifications that enhance the game

NISA Hallmark Sports County takes the concept of indoor sports further by including many other sports like Net Ball and Basketball, along with the favorite - cricket. The Sports County is scheduled to open in the capital city of Tamilnadu, Chennai. The backbone of this project is Hallmark Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.
